Like you, I also called Sessions’ office in DC many times during the Obama years because he was the only one fighting illegal immigration.
He had the nicest office staff of anyone I called.
“I will be shoah to tell the Senatuh what you said.”
Then I would say—”Can he please be my Senator? I have two jerks here in Delaware.”
Nothing quite like a Southern girl’s laugh.
