Donald was so many of the things Rush preached about for years. Being strong and fighting for what you believe. Never bending on beliefs and being proud of ones country. All Donald talked about during his rallies. Building the wall was a big issues on Rush's show. But let his buddy fight for the wall and much more...what did Rush do??.......

Turn on Donald. He put Donald down day after day on his show. He wouldn't get but 3 minutes into his show..and he would start.

I was a big listener then. Day after day I would change the channel to music. Finally after a couple of weeks. I said enough of you traitor.

Yep, people forget Rush attacked POTUS over and over during the primaries and even after he won. I still listen sometimes to get news or a different take but I stopped being a regular when he piled on the anti-Trump bandwagon.

And it bothers me that he uses leftist gaslighting tactics to claim he was always for Trump. But it sure seems to work as most people now think he was on the Trump train from the beginning.

All that being said I pray for Rush every day. I hate cancer and it breaks my heart to see anyone fighting that battle.

Even when Rush was almost the only voice of conservatism crying in the wilderness, he was too bombastic for me. Maybe he is jealous of PDJT who has put into action, or tried to in the face of enormous adversity from the Uniparty , many of the same goals that Rush had.

I agree with both of you girls. It was sad seeing Rush used by Bush. Rush never came out and said he was for amnesty but he did airbrush everything Bush said and did about it. I never trusted him after that. Although at some point he did fess up in a subtle way, said he was done carrying Bush’s water. I would have had more respect if he had been honest about what he did and why. And I really think the only reason he backpedaled was because he was losing listeners.

Same thing when he was pushing for Cruz. He was never honest about that, never came out and said that he made a mistake again.

On the other hand I can listen to him these days. It is obvious he is in awe of trump. Same thing with Glenn Beck. I think both of them realize that Trump is doing everything good for the country, they were dead wrong, and Trump is getting help from above. I don’t remember which rally at was that Rush was that, but I saw him being very impressed with Trump at that point on. Almost subservient, I don’t know how to explain it. Like they are not equals any longer.

As well he should be.
