I cannot believe I missed my own anniversary.
I joined FR 22 years ago, during the height of the Clinton Impeachment. So many great memories. Met Henry Hyde with some local Illinois Freepers, protested Clinton when he was here in Chicago (He turned around and looked at us when I yelled "How's Monica's throat?") and so much more.
Hoping some fellow Class of '98'ers chime in and let me know they're still here.

Who would have guessed back then that I would miss the days when a lying sleaze seducing interns in the Oval Office was just about the worst the Democrats would choose as their public face? I miss Bill Clinton, his bimbo eruptions, and the comparative harmlessness of his small-minded corruption.
Turns out he was just the beginning, and both Parties were complicit in constructing the SWAMP. A very important last point you made. Small-minded or not corruption is still corruption, and has NO place in Government, or any where else for that matter.

Has it been that long? Wow. Seems like yesterday! My first son wasn't born yet (ex-wife was pregnant with him) and I was moving up the management chain of a storied Chicago Ad Agency (Leo Burnett) at the time. What great days those were, all the memories this thread is bringing back to me are such a joy!
