Just to add to the concerns, I went to the mailbox yesterday to get my mail. Stuffed way down at the bottom was bunched up mail (in addition to the new mail sitting on top of the bunched up). When I managed to pull it out, one could tell it had gotten wet and everything dried together. I pried the bunch apart and found my water bill from October 2019 and a receipt for some roofing materials from September 2019! I KNOW that the mailbox was empty the previous day!

It got stored in some Postal Workers garage until they were investigated and fired.

Or,

it got wet and stuck to someone elses mail and they just now remembered to bring it over to your mail box.

How often do we read about some mail man deliverer dumping stuff in the trash, or taking home with him, etc? Around here- very rural - we often get mis-delivered mail, or other people get our mail, and there is tremendous mail theft all over the county. DH had to make a big metal lockable thing under the regular mailbox, and cut upon the bottom of the mail box, so all the mail drops down too low for thieves. Plus the shart edges where it was cut are a deterrent.

Mail in voting is rotten to the core. Also I remember headlines about USPS employees helping Demsheviks by nefarious activities but I can’t remember what. The USPS employes’ union (which should not exist) board of directors or whatever they’re called endored Bitem. That right there is enough evidence to never allow mail in voting.
