My question would be why anywhere in the USA?

I thought NH was an odd choice, but anywhere in the US puts her at risk of arrest. Why didn’t she go somewhere where she was not at risk of arrest?

Maybe she thought she would not be arrested. Maybe any countries she would feel comfy in have extradition treaties with the US. Maybe she thought she would get some advance notice (Bermann?) so she could make it to the airport in time to avoid arrest.

She'd be near Boston Int'l Airport, have an easy drive to the Canadian border, be in a hidden mansion in the woods AND be a four-hour drive away from her boyfriend Bubba.
