In that case, I apologize. I was not ware that you had been asked to keep the thread clean. Even though the word is listed, categorized, and defined in Dictionary .com . It is classed as a noun, verb used with or with or without an object, slang. And in variations of Old English or Old German. But no where could could I find it listed as a a profanity or as profane.

If you like, we can discuss the difference[s] between spelling out the word and **** when the intent of the writer is clear and the message wish to convey is obvious.

I accept your apology. No problem-it’s hard to know the unwritten rules when you have not been on the thread since the beginning.

Thanks for your kind offer of discussion -ROTFLOL-but No thanks.

I’m afraid that would slide the thread — another thing that I have trouble avoiding. It’s a real bummer to have to admit to not being perfect-but I ain’t.

However, Wikipedia and several other sites explain why the word is generally considered to be vulgar and profane in Modern English - check it out -might be interesting-might not.

You have a really delightful day- don’t let this stuff get you down.
