My dentist office just called to reschedule all the family appts that just got put on the calendar for July. The receptionist said that her friend in Oklahoma told her not to visit as they might not be able to return to Texas. I can locate NOTHING about Texas shutting the boarders again?! And even when they were “shut” wasn’t it just quarantine for 14 days when you got where you were going?

Does anyone have any information on this? We are hoping to travel to WI in August and now I guess I better research every state we are driving through.

Miz Bubba, I apologize for a 2 day late response (in festival.) When I saw your ping on this I wanted to do some research because I really don't know. I thought we only shut borders to people coming from those high outbreak areas in the beginning. But then we had a family death and the kids coming from out of state told me that if they came they were required to quarantine at my house for 2 weeks. (LOL - anyone who knows me can verify that I was thrilled with that notion. I hate that my kids live so far from home.) But those were my Oklahoma and Alabama kids, not big outbreak places.

Now, I checked as best I could because I need to travel to Oklahoma twice this month for grandkid things. I can't find any travel restrictions. Only thing I can figure is I don't want fuel/potty breaks around Ft Worth because of masks. Hubby and I have had to run up to Wichita Falls twice in the last week (a 3 hour drive) and since we just want to avoid all fear-mongering mask-nazis we basically fuel up at home, grab food from open restaurants here then make our drive with no other stops. The world is just anti-business when we have to avoid stops because of restrictions. I know I've been spoiled living in the boonies where we've not had to worry about these things.

I had friends in Venezuela back in the 90's. I heard reports of horrid things when Chavez took over and now things are happening in Texas similar to what my friends went thru. Never thought so many Texans would fall for this mess. My ancestors are rolling over in their graves.

As we've seen things happen way to fast when our liberty is stolen but just now I see no reason your trip should not happen. My guess would be that your trip to WI might need checking last minute because each states restrictions could come suddenly. We have decided to cancel going to visit kids and grandkids in Maine this year because of these travel restriction uncertainties but our route has to go thru NY and MA. Texas to WI has a better choice of routes. This is not just an economic attack on our country but an attack on family ties and relationships. It's all a prayer matter tho. Lots more praying happening and I know God has this.

Pretty obvious now, that they are using this CV to get us used to tyrannical “checkpoints” “show me your papers”—restriction of movements.

Without the CV excuse —the citizens would never have meekly submitted to all this crap.
