Former Vice President Joe Biden will accept the Democratic presidential nomination at a nearly all-virtual convention in Milwaukee in August, the Democratic National Committee said Wednesday. Delegates were told to stay home because of health concerns.
"After consulting with public health officials about the COVID-19 pandemic, convention organizers are announcing today that they have determined state delegations should not plan to travel to Milwaukee and should plan to conduct their official convention business remotely," the DNC said in a statement.
Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers, a Democrat, signaled in May that the party was likely to host a virtual convention because of the coronavirus pandemic so as not to put "stress on the public health system, nor put the delegates and others that come to the convention in harm's way."
The U.S. recorded a record number of new coronavirus cases for a single day on Wednesday, with 36,358 new positive tests reported nationwide, according to NBC News' data tracking.
Recent data from the state Department of Health Services suggests a steady increase in cases in Wisconsin. The department reported 25,763 coronavirus cases as of Wednesday.

The RATS don’t want a 1968 spectacle in Milwaukee. They have no control over Antifa and BLM so this is their attempt to prevent another DNC as they had in Chicago that year.
It’s also a good way to limit Slow Joe’s public appearances. Such BS. Now it should be obvious the Democrats had a lot to do with the coronavirus narrative. They want mail-in voting to be the primary way of submitting ballots this election. It’s their best method of cheating on a massive scale.
Good thing the dems called off the convention in Milwaukee. Hillary probably still can’t figure out how to get to Wisconsin, and NORAD would have to have a “Hillary Tracking Project” so the media could identify her location.

It will be a coronation. I am sure that Obama, not Biden, is choosing the VP nominee, for no one thinks Biden will last even one term.
