Okay, Oracle, based upon this OUTSTANDING and STATESMANLIKE COMMENT, I have chosen this very post to reply with my rant.
I am so sick of the LIE that not wearing masks, or inadequate socialist distancing, or opening up of business establishments is leading to a new wave of cases.
If that were so, then why exactly are the cases dying out in NY and throughout the northeast? We watched millions of people riot in Brooklyn, in Manhattan etc. Huge crowds marched down 6th Ave. as well as across D.C. and Philadelphia.
Did they riot like that in Dallas, Houston, Phoenix or Miami (where cases are currently increasing)?
No!!
Not even in L.A. ... as compared with the size of the city.
Many of the people believing and even spreading the lies about masks and socialist distancing are not bad people ... they are simply not red-pilled enough to see through the blizzard of lies/propaganda coming from all directions.
Sheesh. I just exploded at some people I love over this. Obviously needed to let off some steam.
When I’ve been “mask-shamed” of late, I look them in the eye and ask, “how does it help keep the virus out of your eyes? you know you can get it just as easily through your eyes as nose, right?” ... and they are left totally dumbfounded; I don’t press them for an answer they can’t give and never even thought about.
