You neglected to say where this is, and WHY you think BLM, the big new kid on the block, might be interested in coming to your area. It is OBVIOUSLY to provoke and create another optic and narrative like Charlottesville.A phone narrative they still love invoking.I would not take the bait. I would keep my eyes and ears open and gather your friends somewhere on the outskirts and mind your own business. They are looking for a confrontation. DO NOT GIVE THEM ONE. Once again, I don’t know where this is , but I assume the police have been made aware of it. Let them handle or NOT handle it-—considering what’s gone on lately, the Police may stand back and let them go ahead and destroy/graffiti that Civil War installation, or however you described it. From what (scanty) details you gave, I would observe and possibly record from whatever safe distance you can. NO GUNS. They are probably too smart to have any, putting YOU in a trick bag thinking they have them, which they won’t/ but any confrontation with them will reveal that YOU went armed. I need more details please. I have always felt that once they were done with the cities they would descend like the plague on the smaller venues. Details please.

Barricades are already in place in communities like Cicero near Chicago. The Mexicans have moved personnel and heavy weaponry into the area to protect homes and businesses. Black racist rioters lead by Chicago Mayor Groot have been stopped cold.

Okay, as per my question , I see it’s Dallas/Ft.Worth. But do you expect the cops to come out in any kind of force when BLM shows up?? I reiterate that it’s too easy to get sucked into their trap. Given the thoroughly discredited treatment truth is getting lately, truth doesn’t have a chance. You can do what you want, protect what you want, but I think you might get a little more direction and guidance for yourself if you talk directly to the PD and determine how THEY are looking at it.

That sounds on the face of it, like pretty good advice, but I think these fiends and vampires could “make” you pretty quickly. Undercover cops in my experience at 60s rallies always stuck out like a sore thumb, but one would really have to practice their acting before going out. ALSO, they ALL may know beforehand who is in their ranks already and who they expect to “join” on the spur of the moment, if anyone.

Depending on the gun laws in your state (and you said you’re an ex-cop, so I’m guessing you’re up on them) I’d station myself and a few friends protectively in front of that civil war museum with weaponry ranging from paintball to actual firearms, and make it clear you are protecting that building. Standing with the anarchists, even undercover, still gives the visual impression to others that they enjoy greater public support than they do, which is demoralizing to your fellow conservatives, and energizing to the enemy. That’s just my humble opinion.

I commend you for being willing to put yourself at risk in order to try to get some video that will be useful. I’ve wanted to try to do the same thing myself, but I am not able to convince a couple of other people to join me.
I agree with those who have suggested wearing a bulletproof vest, a hidden chest camera, simple black clothes, and no backpack. Also have some sort of mask handy in case tear gas is used or you would stick out like a sore thumb without a mask.
But don’t go unless you can bring two friends with you.
