RE: “Starve a troll...”

Although I am a Virginian via pre-1769 heritage (the year Botetourt County was created by an act of the House of Burgesses), birth, and residency for more than half of my life, this anonymous saying that I was once so proud to share seems no longer to ring true:
To Be a Virginian
either by birth, marriage, adoption,
or even on one’s mother’s side,
is an introduction to any state in the Union,
a passport to any foreign country,
and a benediction from the Almighty God.
Despite heartache, I cherish my family history and will share with my progeny.
When we are divided, we are weak.
