the shakedown is in full swing. Hear what a local woman whose family moved here from Guatamala (I think)says. She owns several small businesses in a near county including two restaurants and an essential oil business. She says she got 3 such emails like the one she explains.

“Today I received a letter from one of my suppliers basically saying that they were ashamed by the systematic racism of white people in this country and that it is shameful that it has taken all of these riots and anarchist actions to bring a light to the overtly racism over this country and that as an entrepreneur of minority status I’m somehow more important to them because of my minority status and as such they have made large donations to the NAACP and ACLU.
While I have been quiet on this topic for sometime, I have now decided to finally respond.

As a family owned business of minority status, I am both shocked and dumbfounded by this email. While it is common knowledge that racism exists in every culture and race to some extent. It has been evident that no country on earth has done more for equality than the United States of America. Furthermore, shaming a race such as white Caucasian’s because of a long ago past history of slavery generations before our current one, that took the lives of hundreds of thousands of white Caucasian males to end (A sacrifice unlike any other nation in history) and to say because you are white, you should be ashamed of yourself and your heritage which happens to include the abolition of slavery, a fact to be PROUD of (the First Nation in modern history to do so), and then replace so called white privilege with minority privilege by saying If you are of color, a entrepreneur of COLOR, than your skill set is no longer important, your work ethic is no longer a factor, your moral compass or desire to show up and out perform others should not play a factor in promotions and/or pay and your ability to lift your self up out of your current financial situation, well that sacrifice/burden should be placed upon the shoulders of others of a white color simply because they are not of A darker color, who work, pay taxes, raise their own children and fight for the same freedoms our constitution declares to every human created in the image of God, those same individuals who would be considered racist if they had all white colleges, if they had preferred race requirements in their hiring practices, if they promoted all one race radio and or movie entertainment channels and who had government benefit programs aimed specifically at their race for advancement in life. I came to America to work hard and live the American dream based on my own abilities, dreams, work ethics and opportunities believing that every man and woman is equal in the sight of God. What happened to “ We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.“ I did not notice a clause that said unless you are white?? Why is a crime against another human have to be identified as a race crime?? If the incredibly rare occurrence of police brutality occurs to another human being, is it only horrific when it is a man of color? Should the focus not be on the crime rather than the color of the victim? I am appalled by abuse of authority when anyone is the victim, I do not turn a blind eye if that victim is white, brown, black or of any other race, sex or nationality and to do so is to spit upon the very constitution I just quoted from. I am frightened that for the first time in my life we may be witness to a return of race warfare by the pushing that minority races are more important, that others should apologize for their existence or pay unfair taxes, penalties, reparations for others in a past they had no part in just because of someone’s skin tone! If you are a racist white person, a racist black person, a racist brown person, an anti-Semite or have a derogatory view of any group of people because of their race, nationality or sex than while this country grants you the freedom to be an imbecile, that doesn’t mean I have to like you. In fact I have the freedom to ignore, refuse service to and refrain from doing business with such individuals BECAUSE I live in the most free country in the world! And as such I will be using those rights to refuse doing any further business with your company who chooses to highlight one race over another rather than injustice to fellow citizens, because you decided to turn your business services into a political platform which seems to not highlight political issues important to me like religious freedoms, anti-semitism, the whole-sale slaughter of thousands of unborn children of color every year, or donations highlighted to the many groups that I personally support. Because you have chosen to turn your business into a short sited supporter of only this issue and ignoring the many other issues that are Also very important to me declaring profits I send to you are being spent on things I may not wholeheartedly support, then I must in all good conscience spend our money on either businesses who choose to not spend my money on political agendas or spend my money on companies whose political agendas match my own (namely those who love all races, sexes and nationalities including the men and women of law enforcement who sacrifice all to ensure our safety and right to protest their very existence). Thank you for identifying my failure to support things important to me by declaring what is so vitally important to you that our investments in your business will be focused on!
