[The rioters are scared of Barr? Thats a big bucket of bull squirt.]
Absolutely. The material surrounding the coup attempt is highly complex and based largely on he said, she said. Rioters who burn down buildings - there’s video from nearby buildings stored in the cloud, records of cars passing through tolled areas, traffic cameras and forensic evidence. Once law enforcement starts paying attention and cracking down, rioters are on borrowed time. Why do you think so many cases are being cleared these days? The Man is always watching, not in the sense of humans scrolling through, but cameras everywhere recording hi-res video. Most of the time, the video lies dormant until it is erased after some pre-defined period, which is getting longer and longer, because storage prices continue to crater. But when the cops come asking in the wake of some violent felony, the video gets looked at.

I’ve been WONDERING about those cameras on every building, block and toll across the country! Where were they, were they turned off, WTH is going on with all those cameras!! What you are saying makes sense now. They’ve been doing what cameras DO: Record. EVERYTHING.

The biggest tool will be the recording of cell phone metadata. Add touch authentication to the phone and you have a tight indictment case.
Of course there are the special Participation Trophy Winners (PTW) who have to take selfies during riots. There are no secrets with this group.

Once law enforcement starts paying attention and cracking down, rioters are on borrowed time. They can also match it up with cell phone records and social media posts. The looters that have been caught so far in our town have been hit with bails from $10K to $100K on state charges. The one with the $100K bail is being held out of state by the feds for inciting a riot via social media. He faces 5 years and $250K fine for that. I think once the word starts getting around people will contemplate if it is worth committing criminal acts.
