Okay so it's looking more and more like I stepped in some Fake News while out on the web and then tracked it into the thread 2 or 3 times.

When I first read reports that Milley flipped on Trump, I almost fell outta my chair. I found more than one source, I pm'd someone in disbelief. Now when I search - ain't nothing. So wut happened? Yeah I stepped in it, but stepped in what?

Is it scrubbed because "remember your oath" worked? Nah. More likely it was fake news now "updated" and I read echo/fake publications I didn't realize were WAPO/NYT storefronts!

Or perhaps simply wires crossed in the overhead compartment?

The obvious bizarre fake news leavings are still there, still distorting, but not carrying the same distortions I recall.

Sorry, thread! I've got an industrial floor scrubber scheduled for tonight. Hopefully it will take care of the FAKE NEWS residue I tracked on your posts!

Aha, that’s a relief.

Recently (today? yesterday? I’ve entered a world where time has no meaning...) I read a Washington Examiner article, linked from the recently retired Q thread, that was...WUT???? If I try real hard, I may be able to find that article tomorrow.

And then I realized the Wa. Examiner is sometimes okay, and sometimes totally NOT okay. IIRC the head guy of it was a Never Trumper during campaign (IIRC).

Everybody (except me of course) f’s up once in awhile. Getting too emotional or being distraught over seeming ‘victories’ by our enemies can skew otherwise reasonable and rational people to despair. Not knowing what is going on, the fog of war exacerbates that. Seeing the pic of the USSS sniper with his fine weapon I don’t think was a mistake. Patriots can and do support law and order with prayer and contact with the good guys. Going to a riot zone to demonstrate that support really just screws up the target set for the good guys. When that .338/.308 goes off, you don’t want to be anywhere around the soon to be expired doughhead.
