One of my best friends who I either speak to or text to almost every day, and who I've known since high school is a retired Colonel from Delta Force. He had this to say about Mattis yesterday: "I think I told you guys about Mattis and Kelly when they first came on board--prototypes of the moniker 'jarhead'. I know him personally, guided his guys into both Afganistan and Iraq but you won't read that he had to be handheld by D guys in his books. Hes always been all about himself--ask any marine that worked for him--his eye bags and conflicted rants reveal a troubled personal life, says his only hobby is reading about history and has lived w his brother his whole life--Kelly is just as badtotal Rinosjust sit back and ask yourself how its even possible to blame trump for anything that just happenedyou now see law-abiding black people calling BS on BLM, and antifa is as close to a communist insurrection aided by Dems and media as anyone could imagineand now mattis thinks its a good time to criticize trump? If your going to speak up speak up for the rights of innocent people who lost their lives and livelihoodsinstead he critiques trumpwhat bothers them most is that America is already bouncing back, the stock market is the closest thing to an omen of the futureDems, media, and rinos like him see it and they get even more desperatesry boysfreedom always wins.
He made-up his own nicknames--who does that? before We guided his guys into Iraq I told him about the complexity of identifying the enemy from civilians and he said 'we'll sort em out after we kill em' and I said 'I wouldn't recommend that technique' he laughed and said 'that's cause your not a marine' -- afterword my SGM said 'that guy is f@#ked up' and that was the first time I started worrying about how we were prosecuting the war. We we should never have brought in all the conventional forces, we were successful in A because we used Afghans--unfortunately Generals like him didn't like that and wanted to create their 'Patton' moments in history

Trump surprisingly has made some pretty bad personnel choices.

Never liked “Tame Dog” Mattis. Always thought he was out of his element at the pentagon and that he thought he was secretary of state trying to usurp Trump’s foreign policy jurisdiction.

For all his supposed experience, Mattis wasn’t too bright when he allowed Omarosa Manigault to record their conversation in the White House. Security breach, and he let it happen.

Never trust a general with a huge P.R. department.
I didn’t trust Mattis as soon as I figured out what self-aggrandizing glory hound he was, constantly using underlings and lackies to push out his bogus “Mad Dog” legend.

Lara Logan doesn’t care for Mattis either... but she worships the ground the Communist Nelson Mandela walked on
