I tried to like it, but just can’t take the endless soap opera shows anymore.
It’s had its fair share of liberal storylines. There was the Muslim terrorist who turned out to be a blonde white woman, and all the Muslims interviewed were appalled that she had misunderstood the tenants of her new religion. There was the prostitute who was murdered by her devout Christian mother. There was the one where our hero cops were manning the gun buyback table. The one that finally made me quit was when a racist right-wing talk show host was due to speak and Chief Reagan made sure it was all minority cops working security, which of course drove the host’s racist listeners away from the event.
I’ve never seen it, personally, but those that watch it seem very loyal to it.
