I think Milley is using smoke and mirrors to cover himself. In this letter, Milley reminds those serving of their oath to uphold the Constitution; Milley intentionally omits their oath to support the president. Milley is claiming the president is violating the Constitution and therefore soldiers who uphold the constitution Constitution MUST refuse to be loyal to the president. Milley implies the President's actions are an enemy of the Constitution.

I respectfully disagree with your assertions here. We’ll see how it plays out.

He’s twisting things by making it sound as if the military will be used to stop protesting. Not true, they are needed to maintain order! 1 million are expected in DC this weekend

I'm not seeing that in the Millie memo?

When or where did Milley say this, I am not seeing it in the letter; did he say elsewhere, or by ommission in the letter?

Milley intentionally omits their oath to support the president.

Took the oath multiple times, never swore anything personally to the President. Obey the orders of the President as others above me, obviously as long as they are legal orders.

"I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."
