He had the sickle cell as a carrier but not active. After death his blood exhibited sickle cell in dead blood cells.
If he had active sickle cell, he probably wouldn’t have lived until 30.
I have been wondering how sickle cell trait - malaria evolution- would deal with covid 19 since I also have a malaria evolution trait.
With all the things wrong with George Floyd ..if he truly didn’t have much problem with Covid 19...that is an eye opener for me, at least.
