From their POV, the future wasn’t bright.
The incoming Republican administration (Nixon) had some success in a recovery.

FF2 today, Minneapolis rioters burned State forced shutdown storefronts.
Unemployment is high because of the shutdown.
Residents, prior to the riots, looked to a strong recovery and returning to their jobs.
Now, the storefronts won’t be back.
The jobs will be gone forever.
Residents will return to a subsistence-life on welfare.

Anyway, the BB told me last night that, because of what they have done to the economy, HE DOES NOT EXPECT TO EVER AGAIN VOTE FOR A RAT.
