His bio of Alexander Hamilton is the source of the rap musical :Hamilton", in which we learn that blacks like George Washington with the support of a hispanic guy like Hamilton won the Revolution. Chernow also joined a group of other historians to single out Trump as "the most horrifying" of presidents.
As to the documentary, throw in "produced by Leonardo DiCaprio", and I see it as a lose/lose project. I have read a lot about the Civil War and Grant already, so I'll pass.
