Father in Heaven, thank you for blessing us with Your faithful warriors whose service to You, as well as to our country, freed us over and over again from those who would destroy your children. Please bless all those left behind, heal the wounded hearts who most keenly mourn their loss, and keep us all in Your warm embrace as we face this solemn day replete with gratitude, and awareness of our full indebtedness, as we honor those who gave all.
