That headline missed the BIG news - they are turning over the BURR matter to a related investigation (they got his PHONE!)
This “fact checking” move by Twitter has just changed the landscape in an important respect - I think someone above on this thread pondered something along these lines ...
but as I read what’s just happened - unless Twitter has deployed some algorithm that now “fact checks” every post by every user and does the same thing and in a way that is unbiased + universal, etc., then they have just removed any pretense that Twitter is a “publisher” - which opens them up to all kinds of prosecutorial and civil actions.

While “precision ag” equipment is very sophisticated, it makes operating the machinery dirt simple. The tractor could offer levels of assistance all the way to working the field without human intervention, but as a buddy who works for John Deere puts it, “farmers LIKE to drive tractors!”. So a common mode is to engage the autopilot and let the GPS guid the tractor to make perfectly straight rows, then the farmer flips it off and makes the headland turn (180) and back on again.
This takes GPS precision greater than possible from the satellites only, and few people know that the largest Differential GPS Correction system is the John Deere StarFire system, which is more accurate than the one run by the FAA (down to 1 meter with typical 24 hour accuracy of 4.5 cm!)

It’s a predictive report — Large companies like Microsoft are in a position to buy out smaller companies. It is alleged that the smaller companies have been so negatively impacted by the shutdowns that they will have to sell.
More interesting was the actual changes that have been made or are being proposed that restrict free speech, as well as making actual history go down the memory hole.
