Here is what I fought on Tuesday.
Rain gauge totaled 7.3 inches of rain from 3am TUE to 3am WED.
My back yard is the proverbial "bottom of the bowl" in our block with the lowest point visible on the right.
This was taken around 11am TUE. By 3PM the water was at the deck.
As of today, there is a small puddle of standing water in the corner of my fence.

And here was the bright spot in that very rainy day.

Wow! That’s a lot of water. Especially when it’s an area that probably doesn’t flood normally.
Watching the President at the Ford plant. I should probably show this to my truck, which happens to be a Ford.

Your hummingbirds look very unusual. Ours look very different; never saw one with a yellow belly.
