Yeah, well, I’ve had more than 3,000 hours of intense group process training and experiences leading etc. And, it’s likely in my genetics as well. At least is likely a part of my flavor of attachment disorder.
However, face to face folks tend to think of me as one of 2 contrasting types—warm fuzzy teddy bear or a very intense, intimidating, fierce aggressive proponent of whatever I’m going on about at the moment—usually Christianity, conservatism etc. Usually those who focus on one of the 2 above also acknowledge the contrast about me.
Riding around town with mother at age 14 I started praying that God would grant me the empathy to KNOW what it felt like to be in the skin of the bums & native Americans I saw on the street. He began to answer that prayer in overwhelming ways. I don’t regret that. But it has been . . . an interesting ride.
