Thanks. I think the MB would definitely show a pattern. While I was in the State Department, we took the MB in all the leadership courses, or management training. During our initial orientation class we took it, and I was called out to go up to the stage and then called behind the stage. I was literally set up to make a point. I was a dead solid ENTJ and upon returning to the stage in front of class they had a situation and asked for each of the three of us on stages take on how to handle it. Unbeknownst to me, they had said I would react with a logical step by step and the entire class was clapping and applauding when I was the perfect ENTJ response per MB materials.
Now I think people who can listen to talk radio as opposed to TV have the capacity to “see” what is “said” rather than be shown. Weaker minds might inquire.
Seriously though, the MB is predictive in my case as I was highly productive and was directed to the Communications Security Branch as a final assignment. Meticulous ability to organize and sort sensitive materials and to keep others managed in a quarter of the posts worldwide takes a certain kind of person. People used to call me Spock, Einstein, etc. I could both chew bubble gum and walk at the same time too.
Thanks.
Huge congrats. It’s been years since I’ve taken the Myers-Briggs and I’ve almost forgotten at least half of what I knew about it. I should take it again for kicks.
Usually, on most tests that try & force one into one or 2 or several mutually exclusive categories or ends of a continuum of categories, I tend to come out BOTH AND. LOL.
