I also went out to eat yesterday, at Charlie’s Restaurant and Lounge. Same thing - the waitress wore her mask and gloves, but no customers wore them. It wasn’t very busy, but it’ll take time to get a panicked population back to normal.

I’ve managed to add a few Scottish phrases to my repertoire, but I use them cautiously to avoid havin’ me bum oot the windae.

I would add that the Scots have an incredible number of slang synonyms for “idiot”. Which are most effective when combined with the usual swear words.
