Trump told him to. It was a biggo sting operation.
I used to do training for a volunteer crisis helpline and we had all the trainees take the Myers Briggs to help them better understand their own preferences, so they could be more able to learn the techniques we were about to teach them. It was very helpful because each person knew those aspects where more effort would be needed to overcome their natural tendencies. The MBTI is a pretty good tool for understanding others who are different than oneself, and realizing thats OK, theres no right or wrong, just differences.

I prefer “perceptive scoundrel”
Tomayto, tomahto.
A fair number have probably seen me as a perceptive scoundrel, alright. Particularly in my younger years.
The first rule of lizard people is...
Don't talk about lizard people.
(those that do are never seen again)
Though I tried hard to be the good righteous Christian, the scoundrel seemed to leak out around the edges with annoying frequency.
Mostly in devious avoidance of dutiful chores or some such.
It is known that lizard people are unaware of their true nature until they achieve the quickening. At times, this may not take place until late in life, and sometimes not at all.
The ways of the lizard are not our own, and strange.
Please keep your distance, madam.

I’m INFP. “Idealist”, guilty as charged ;-) Which is why I prefer to see the grayish side of white in the absence of hard and clear data. But, a good reminder that personality differences are just that - different preferences, and in my case, I learned to rely on alternative styles because my career was nothing close to what the MBTI says are popular careers for my type.
Ummmmmm ..
You're right. That MB test seems to produce unusual results. I think the MBTT has been "new and improved" so many times by legions of sociology students over the years, that it's hard to determine its authenticity.
The Jung test seems reasonable.
Says I’m ISTJ-a
I have no idea what that means.
Which of those two tests seems better to you? Or do you know of another online free one that’s better?
Mama Whale.
Yeah, personality types, labels, features are just shorthand labels.
And a number of people don’t fit well in any artificially constructed little boxes. Even when the boxes are experientially, empirically derived.
Dr George Kelly—personal role construct theory stated that
Humans are motion.
We are always in motion. Not what we were. Not yet what we are becoming.
Some changes are microscopic, so to speak and some macro. But humans change. At least unless they are comatose.
Personality scales say things about groups collected around variables ticked in a certain pattern—fairly accurately.
They are less reliably precise about a given individual.
Usually there are explanations; I don’t know what the “-A” means at all. I could look...
