I recall Leo being on an episode of The Munsters as well.

I liked the ones with Jethro and the tank I couldn’t exactly work out the model.

Wasn’t it a WWII Stuart Light tank?

I’m not sure.

That episode was on a couple of months ago.

I haven’t seen it in years.

Beverly Hillbillies is one of those shows, no how many times you’ve seen the episodes you still laugh!

My favorites are the ones where Ellie is dating a US Navy diver and Granny thinks he’s half frog!

Recently binged the entire series.

Two best scenes of the series:

Jed thinks he should spiff up his act now that they are rubbing shoulders with BH society. He tells Jethro to grab a brick and scrape the rust off the truck and give it a nice thick coat of tar oil. Lol!

Pearl preparing Jethrine for a counting visit from Jasper Depew. Pearl advises Jethrine to play a particular piece on the pump organ as the piece requires the organist to cross hands while performing. The boys like that... says Pearl. Lol!!

The doorbell joke never got old.

Ellie was a drag on the series. The whole critter thing didn't cut it.

They were all good episodes.

Drysdale was my favorite with his over the top love of money and endlessly making Jane Hathaway do all the work.

Max Baer under rated as a comic actor!

Everything about the show was comically memorable!

Nothing even close today.

I used to enjoy Jethro doing his “ga-zintas” and wanting to be a “double naught spy”.

Related to nothing... my dad wrote Leo Durocher’s book, NICE GUYS FINISH LAST. My father, one of the sweetest men ever to walk the face of the Earth.. DETESTED Durocher. Honestly, the only time I ever heard him speak negatively of someone he wrote a book with.
