We have some conservative semi retired friends on the Floriduh east coast and pan handle/west coast area.
They said their refugees were driving luxury cars not UHaulit trucks or beat up vehicles. The reality of them driving their luxury vehicles,probably means, they are not planing on going back to NYC, Boston, ???.
Huh...they determined this using smart phone tech.
Then, they can also tell us exactly where these rich folks took off to.
I imagine upstate, or the Hamptons....to their second homes.

You can barely buy a closet in Manhattan for $2,000 a month, and in the other boroughs not a decent family dwelling. Those fleeing are more likely paying rent or mortgage of $2,000 a week!
Time to start using burner phones, perhaps. Give everybody the land line and forward that line to the burner phone. That way people can get hold of me, but I'm not tagged like a rogue bear wearing a tracking collar wherever I go.

This data is not so much a function of the “Location Services” tracking, but based on which cellular tower the telephone connects to.

Maybe they did, maybe they didn’t but, several people I know drove out, made no stops and are now self quarantined and having food delivered.
They are in every way sequestered and everyone is safe from each other
