Bombshell is quaking. The Morning Show is quivering in its boots. Somewhere in Rachel McAdamss house, a poster for Morning Glory just spontaneously fell off the wall. Yes, Ramin Setoodehs best-selling book Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of The View has been optioned to be adapted into a scripted TV miniseries. Variety reports that the tell-all, which features unprecedented levels of access and interviews with nearly ever host of the long-running ABC roundtable daytime television series, sold its screen rights to ex-Lionsgate president Erik Feigs production company, Picturestart. So its time to start fantasy-casting what will surely be a remarkable female ensemble, including Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie ODonnell, Star Jones, Joy Behar, and Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Best-case scenario, we stage a raid on Ryan Murphys stable of talent to get Patti, Jessica, and Angela in on this. Otherwise, are Fred Armisen and Kenan Thompson available?
Hopefully on channel 6498264.
Finally a show based on the estrogeneration.
1st episode: “Orange man bad”
2nd episode: “Orange man bad” is a nazi
3rd episode: “Orange man bad” is a nazi and so are the people who voted for him
and so on.
Like you, I could care less. Have never watched these a holes and wont ever start. Bunch of unintelligent gas bags...I suppose!
With the right director this might be entertaining. What say we let James Woods direct this? :)
THE REAL THING IS AWFUL ENOUGH
Now I’ve heard everything.
I would love to have Whoopie Goldberg tell us what names she would have given to the six children she slaughtered in her abortions. I think that would be wonderful.
Several possible working titles
Afternoon B1tchfest
The Spew
The I’m the Biggest Victim Show
Lets Complain America
No One Else Will Pay us to be on TV Anymore
Louie Anderson should be cast as Rosie ODonnell.
What if they made a miniseries and no one watched it? I don’t even know any libtards who watch it and I live in CA. I wouldn’t invest my money in this venture.
What the Hell, the British made a musical about Jerry Springer.
The View makes a strong case for repealing the Nineteenth Amendment.
The View scum are loathsome subhuman filth. Unfortunately, they captured the Suburban vote of Daves and Karens successfully.
Who in hell would watch it? I haven’t suffered any. Well, a couple of times I walked by when Elizabeth Hasselback was saying something and maybe briefly glanced at her.
They could make it to a cartoon. Imagine the view stars as the member of the animal kingdom that best represents them. Hippos, snakes, poodles, pigs, vultures....the comedy writes itself.
The View is the only show on TV that requires a guest to raise the IQ to average.
“Haven’t we suffered enough? “
my thought exactly ...
