I suspect if he doesn’t immediately dismiss the case, Sidney is gonna take a legal 2x6 and pound him to pulp in appealing tomorrow.
This is going to wind up before the SCOTUS, where they will drop the hammer on this entire case.

You can only appeal a “final and appealable order” which means the case must be completely disposed of on the record. Powell can seek injunctive relief before a final order on a showig of irreparable harm, without any other relief available. And that standard may be met here. T’were I Powell I would certainly apply for that today. That relief is an injunction, stopping Sullivan. Powell needs to show, and the appeals judge(only one is needed) that rerepable harm may resukt, no other relief is available and that the appealant has a good chance of prevailing on appeal.
Powell can chose which appeals judge to submit that motion to, thats critical. Trump has a couple decent judges on that panel.
