The ones who have money are leaving. Buying houses elsewhere. I expect more of it as people get their plans together.
This will be a different city.
And of course there will be another wave of the pandemic.
Here the problem is not so much the so-called patriots (although the few “conservatives” who live here have gone full Limbaugh, with all the minor columnists joining in the latest “conservative” fad) but the ignorant self-deluded who won’t realize that their desire to be back to normal is causing them to underestimate the danger. Same in New Jersey.
Sorry some of them are going your way. At least they have money and will help the local businesses.
They’ve been invading for the past 20 years but there will be a huge increase now. All they’ve done for us is raise the property tax 10% each and every year.
