"Was there a connection to it called “Whitaker’s Way”?"

Been researching Trammel's Trace since ~2004, and "Whitaker’s Way” is a new one to me!

I assume you've looked at a copy of our map...

Any idea of about where, along "TT's" length, "Whittaker's Way" might have connected? Maybe a county name?

If anyone might have heard of it, the most likely was my friend & colleague, Larry Jacobs -- whom we just buried yesterday... :-{
