Mr. Arbery, if you were innocent and scared of possibly being abducted, robbed or killed, why would you run upwards of 60 feet, right at the neighbor holding a gun, and then physically attack and attempt to physically disarm the neighbor?
Your facts are incorrect. According to the McMichaels, Arbery was NOT chased by them. In fact, by the time they retrieved their guns and got in their truck, he was long gone. The problem for Arbery was that the dumbass apparently didn’t realized that the neighborhood was surrounded by water. The defendants spotted Arbery running on a different street and the drove to cut him off at the pass, i.e., at the only exit from this subdivision. The cameraman was obviously driving slowly behind him, but the McMichaels did not “chase” him. You should read the publicly available police report.
If your this perp who has been videoed trespassing and sprinting from a home under construction and running down the street away from where you were videoed trespassing and you charge at someone holding a shotgun and shouting at you to stop but you know you have just been trespassing on a street where burglaries have recently occurred ... but of course you left all of that out like the good little fool for media manipulation. Yell for help? As did when 2 hispanic yutes called me nigger and pulled a gun on me? I didn’t shout for police while they had me down on the ground taking my wallet but after they pealed out I did. And I ran down the street and gave a report to disinterested/scared cops (long story short I got a case number but never any followup call and it was never listed in violent crimes in my neighborhood stats).
If you are in a neighborhood in broad daylight, turn around and run the other way rather than running towards the second truck, then around the truck and trying to get the jump on one of the guys. The best defense is a good offense? Or felon’s guilt?
