:^) It's joust a bump. ;^D One thing you never see in these quaint European towns? A renaissance faire. That's so weird.
Brad Upton knew Hong Kong had something missing
In the end those Germans were very lucky to be her POWs.
There was a Denver connection to the Channel Islands a few years ago. A real estate developer named John Dick, aptly named, got rich off the Denver Tech Center, the first big suburban office park in the region. He bought an old noble pile on Jersey and stashed his money in a Jersey trust. He used to jet friends to Jersey for a blow out summer party. Dick enjoyed explaining he had a seigneur's right of first night for newlyweds.
When his second wife divorced him he fled to Jersey to cut her off without a dime. Her lawyer could not break the trust under Jersey's arcane laws. But, he found another arcane law that allowed the ex-wife to throw Dick into debtors prison until he caughed up the dough.
And I only "snitch" when I am attacked by extremely vile and obnoxious comments that aren't worthy of any internet forum.
Seems like it would have been cheaper just to have her hit. /rimshot
sure snitch whatever blows your skirt
LOL!
Was a good read. The story corroborates with others I’ve read about this.
This is a pleasant, charming article. The startling thing is that today’s socialists and today’s Islamic terrorists are both far worse than the Nazis that Dame Sibyl dealt with. We are facing a whole new level of evil - still Satan’s minions, but ratcheted up from even Germany in the 1940s.
Wonder Woman did a great job fighting the Nazis during the war.
She did so today in an episode from 1944.
A great post on a great day for mothers. I presume that she did get notified about her son’s death through the IRC (International Red Cross) before the War’s end. She played to her strengths, kudos to the Dame of Stark! She won her Game of Thrones!
Great article - thanks for posting it.
My reading of the link was that the source was BBC.
Fascinating. Thanks for posting.
My first 3 kids are surnamed Hathaway. Youngest of the 3 kept the name and passed it on to his children.
