It just struck me ... people today are asking the question, what were the REPs doing all this time, knowing that it was all a fraud, why didn’t they expose it? And people have long been frustrated with Trey Gowdy & Lindsey Graham (Paul Ryan is a different story).

The question was posed by “Q” - what role would Gowdy play?

It now occurs to me - the REPs were slow-walking everything to allow the sting to unfold. If they’d ended it then ... they’d have ended it then.
