They are calling for snow up here in NH Saturday morning. And “on and off” during the day Saturday.

My wife is dying to get our vegetables in the garden. Looks like we’ll be waiting till the first week in June.

Expecting just light snow mixed with rain in mid-coast Maine. Thank God for ocean moderation. Believe it or not you get sick of seeing the white stuff after 5 months of it, although we had it easy this year.

We never put any plants outside until Memorial Day weekend.

Usual plant-out in SW WI is after May 23.

Last couple of years, it’s been at least 1 and maybe 2 weeks later.

Frost at the end of May (overnight 32 degrees) is common. Snow, sometimes heavy, in early May happens, too. Usually melts off by noon the next day. Bonus is the snow can insulate the early bulbs. Plus, it looks cool to see flowers peeking thru the snow and it really greens up the early grass.
