In some Christian services, praise services contexts, white feathers appear/float from above 100% unbidden, unstaged, unmanipulated.

The consensus is that they are a ‘type’ of ‘angels’ sign of God’s Presence and anointing on the meeting and the participants in the meeting.

It would not be too far fetched to construe a white feather floating down near Trump as a positive sign from God.

Are the white feathers from chickens, ducks, or similar to down used in sleeping bags etc.?

At least when the Virgin Mary appears, as she did here in the Philippines, she uses rose petals. The Vatican however shut the scam down after they found vendors hawking some of these genuine rose petals to pilgrims.

Angels are spirits. They are shown with wings as a symbol because they move quickly in time and space. The wings are an idea by artists, not in the bible.
