Logical fallacy; too few alternatives. There are way more variables than just social distancing. For instance there just as large variables between countries that did social distancing. Why is that?

Learn what significant means.

You almost made a point. Not an important one. A word game one, necessary for scientific articles, but serving avoiding the issue in informal conversations.

To be clear no conclusion can be made that Sweden’s policies increased its death per million compared to countries with differing policies.

No conclusion can be made that lockdown or social distancing decreased deaths per million in any country.

Yes.

But that’s not the topic. The question is are the claims Sweden got hit worse due to her policies true?

The answer is a resounding no evidence supports that hypothesis.
