Did the ChiComs really think they could get away with attacking the USA with a bio weapon and not get hit with PAIN? Guess they haven’t read any of DJT’s books.

From my limited understanding, the bio weapon aspect is going to necessarily be downplayed. If it was allowed to gain full traction with official backing, then hot war is mandated.
There’s no way in hell it wouldn’t end up going to nukes. China, for all the bullcrap propaganda it’s been pumping out, has crap on toast for conventional military. Lots of crap on toast, but still just crap on toast. And China does not have the logistics/transport backbone to reach us conventionally. But we do them. We don’t have the forces to make that work though. Not nearly enough manpower to “do” China.
And China has been building for nuke war since the 60s. Major underground facilities in every city and most of the towns. Shelters designed for long term use for masses of people.
We don’t.
So, what I’m currently guessing is that China is going to be economically ruined. Pushed into wide spread civil unrest. Make China eat itself.
So, that’s why although it is pretty obvious that The Kung Flu was man made and purposely released, the “official stance” is going to have to be natural and accidental.
China still gets destroyed though. Difference is we don’t have to die in the millions for it.

I think that’s what I was a tryin’ to point out. We don’t need a hot war to make them pay, but they have really stepped in it by doing this while DJT is in charge. And they should have known it, if they had studied him at all.
only porblem with your scenario is that we have been putting their crap electronics in all kinds of infrastructure and possibly, weapons..eg, who was causing our planes to crash a while back? DS or chinee? .. back doors are scary.
