Good plan, not going to the Phillipines. We met our son in Cebu —a resort there a few years back. The resort was beautiful but everything we saw outside was really a 3rd world country and rather unsafe.
That's what makes it so fun. It's not much different than Bourbon street after midnight on a Saturday night.
