Her position is actually a bit more subtle than that, and more revealing. She’s saying pretty clearly that she would still support Biden even if he did what Tara Reade has alleged, which is rape.
Why? Because she thinks trump is guilty of worse? She claims he is but that’s not her reason. She says:
“It falls upon women to navigate within the system of men’s design to make pragmatic choices that we hope will lead us to a more equal future. I still support Joe Biden because I believe that’s the best choice for that future,” ... “in any black and white world, we’d have a woman to rally behind to replace Trump”
So she doesn’t like her choices — in a perfect world she would be able to pick a perfect candidate but in the “grey” world (fallen world?)) she doesn’t have that luxury. So she’s supporting a guy EVEN IF he is actually guilty of rape because “we hope [he] will lead us to a more equal future.”
To me that all resolves to: I’m supporting the Democrat even if he’s a rapist.
My guess is that if there was an anti-abortion Democrat left in the country he or she wouldn’t get such a pass, so her position resolves to: men can abuse women all they want as long as there is unrestricted abortion.
Which is consistent with the fact that the most pro-abort cohort in the country is young sexually active men.
