Michigan Legislature (Senate): “The emergency declaration expires at midnight April 30. The governor cannot extend that order without Senate approval. She has not requested A&C for any new order. We are adjourned for 2 weeks.”
Whtmer: “I’ll do what I think is best and the emergency is extended to May 28.”
Patriots of Michigan are returning to normal but businesses are cautious. I think the order will be tested this weekend by patriots travelling to any destination they please. It is supposed to be warm and sunny all weekend. I predict moderate traffic headed North to open up the cabins.
