Flynn had a brilliant military career, made a relatively boneheaded but minor mistake starting out in the private sector by taking on a representative of the Turkish government as a client in his consulting firm and then got railroaded by the enemies he made while in government when they saw an opportunity. I hope his time in public service isn’t over, would love to see him back in a senior admin role (maybe Ambassador to the UN since his home is in the northeast) but I wouldn’t blame him if it was his last public foray.
Why? Turkey is an ally.
