An old friend who lives in CA just called me yesterday and she is freaking out. Hasn’t worked in two months, is a gig worker (some kind of court reporter stuff for attorneys), can’t pay mortgage, can’t get any kind of stimulus check, is mad at Trump and is a staunch conservative normally.

Need her to contact her mortgage company STAT

I have a 3 month stay on my home residence ..IT SAVED MY BACON BIGLY...mortgage...originally at the local credit union ...loan transferred to the fed with credit union collection the money.

I’m unemployed, I’m told temporarily, but I’m still paying my mortgage. I’m not falling behind. Luckily I have the means to do so. I’m sure no good deed will go unpunished.

It is our damn governor who won’t open CA. even though our numbers are EXTREMELY LOW!! You need to let your friend know that this is NOT Trump but Newsom!! It is absolutely ridiculous that this state is closed up!!!

Re: mortgage delay- thanks for posting. Is there a requirement that if you delay, say, April and May, that it will all be due after 3 months? I seem to remember that from somewhere.

We are okay currently. Construction still up and running (considered essential), and I think Ivey is about to take off the shackles, at least for a few more businesses, news conference today.

I am seeing that more and more in Democrat run states...the Republican States are doing fine, some could be better if their Govs. got off their butts but they are doing okay...

Maybe you should tell her to move to a Republican State where at least she could rent an apt. and submit an application for a typist somewhere...
