WWE hall of famer and former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura is dismissing social media chatter that he's mounted a third-party 2020 White House bid.
Ventura says he has not filed paper work to run under the Green Party banner, despite what Twitter posts have suggested and him hinting last year about plans to use an “element of surprise” to join the race once it was down to two candidates.
If Venture were to jump in the race, he's got a throwback endorsement from President Donald Trump, who's trying to win reelection.
In a 2004 clip from Wrestlemania, Ventura asks then-New York City business mogul Donald Trump whether he could count on his "moral and financial" support were he to get back into politics.
"One-hundred percent," Trump responded.
Whether Venture, a Vietnam War veteran, intends to mount a 2020 long-shot White House bid in 2020 remains unclear. But the former wrestler-politician-author doesn't appear to have much enthusiasm for any major party candidate, including Trump.
He's referred to Trump as a "draft dodger," who he would like to see out of Washington in 2020. And he's referred to the nation's two main political parties as the "DemoCRIPS," and "ReBLOODlicans," implying that the parties are as corrupt and responsible for death and violence as the two well-known street gangs.

Ventura always looks and sounds like a mentally ill homeless person....

A presidential bid is something you can keep secret for only so long.
The GOP should bankroll the Green Party. Just like the Libertarians help the Demonrats.

The Fabulous Moolah reportedly told Mean Gene Okerlund that she was not interested in a Vice President position.
Ventura is damaged goods. While his crazy aunt in the basement could run for president he won’t do it. He would be a total joke and he knows it.
Well, Green Party members, of course.
The DNC can't be happy if Jesse runs.
And volunteer as well. If I wasn't on lockdown, I would have been out campaigning for Bernie. We need to get a viable socialist party going. The stigma is gone.
This greaseball needs to just STFU!
Too many people already know Jesse. He can be entertaining and could divert a few votes from Blue to Green, but Jesse is primarily thought of as a clown or as a fake Seal these days.
