Bill Maher is one odd duck. 99% of the time he’s a vulgar, smarmy idiot. Then comes that 1% of the time when I agree with him totally.
And it’s not a case of a blind squirrel finding a nut. Because that 1% of the time he’s not just making generalizations. He’s spot on.
I find myself agreeing with him on more than !%. I do appreciate his honesty and willingness to attack snowflake culture.
He is still arrogant as hell though.
Just like Ann Coulter, Bill Maher is a persona. He presents himself to the public in a way that keeps the paychecks rolling in and his show on the air.
Bill Maher is a well-learned and experienced person. He knows exactly what the truth is, what is right, what makes sense.
BUT.... he's a comedian. Truth, right, and logic do not sell. He has learned that and most of the time he gives the public what they WANT, instead of what they NEED.
I have listened to him during various interviews with DEM leaders, DEM audiences, etc., and he say something that makes sense, yet the audience and their guest have no response, either because they missed it, or because they have no answer to his statement/question.
He knows, but you can't make money off being truthful in the entertainment business.
All right, who replaced Maher with a conservative?
I know some folks that knew Bill when he was around the Playboy Mansion. The girl called him “Little Bill”.
Yeah,it almost scares me when Bill Maher is intentionally right about anything. Makes me wonder what is wrong with my thinking.
