Per the Minnesota Department of Health, they are reporting 4644 positive tests for COVID-19, an increase of 463 cases from yesterday (Tuesday).
18 new deaths (an increase of 3 from Tuesday’s new deaths) were reported, raising the statewide total to 319.
2043 individuals with positive tests are no longer isolating, an increase of 131 from yesterday (Tuesday).
Between the Department of Health and private labs, a total of 66744 tests have been conducted, an increase of 2915 tests since yesterday (Tuesday).
Currently 320 patients are hospitalized for COVID-19, an increase of 6 from yesterday (Tuesday). 119 patients are in ICU, a decrease of 1 from yesterday (Tuesday).
The median age of all reported cases is 50. The median age of all hospitalized cases is 63. The median age of all deaths is 83.
The age group of all reported positive cases is as follows:
0-5 yrs - 1%
6-19 yrs - 3%
20-29 yrs - 14%
30-39 yrs - 17%
40-49 yrs - 15%
50-59 yrs - 17%
60-69 yrs - 12%
70+ yrs - 22%
Of all cases, 50% are female and 50% are male.
