Hispanics are 2.5X the State death rate, while Asians are 0.5X the state death rate.
This isn’t really saying much considering at least 78% of people in the United States have an underlying condition.

This virus is a lot tougher on people who are really old and/or really fat. Then again, so is time.

Well, 28% of all new yorkers are obese, so 41% hospitalization is not all that far off; given that many obese people have other conditions (many are obese because of those conditions), it hardly seems rational to claim that obesity itself is a serious risk
Now, look at diabetes. About 11% of new yorkers are diagnosed; the hospitalization rate is 33%. That’s triple, and that indicates a serious link between diabetes and bad cases of COVID.
