If you make a critical comparison of individual posters there and posters here, you will find little correlation.
If you make a simple comparison of the simple detractors that simply post on both threads, you will simply see a high level of correlation.
It would become apparent that the “common sense” conservatives or, the “self interest” conservatives (h/t, bagster) that FR attracts are on both threads.
The patriots on FR are FReeQs and Flubros. And, many Flubros, if pressed, would not be caught dead, here. In the end, patriots on FR are legion. Just in different battalions.
Sadly, the flubros thread, which is lambasted for being kooks, can be spread thru-out FR with no crackdown on “flubros” content outside of Flubros.
Now, this is not a whine, it is a statement of fact. Us FReeQs won’t pitch a fit over the double standard. We won’t beg the boss to open up the gates they way he has for Flubros. In fact, FReeQs actively work to AVOID involving Q concepts on Flubros when goaded.
We’re comfy and silently proud to understand that we have sympatico patriots >over there<. I’d trust impimp in my foxhole. And, gas_dr is a cracking Colonel!
